1. 接受条款与适用范围
本使用条款（“本条款”）是你与 PastelScan 的提供者 AppCodings（“我们”）之间关于 PastelScan iPhone/iPad 应用、PastelScan Pro 订阅以及配套网站（合称“服务”）的协议。下载、安装、访问或使用服务，即表示你已阅读并同意受本条款约束。如果你不同意，请不要使用服务。
如果你未达到所在地可以自行签署有约束力协议的年龄，应由父母或法定监护人审阅并同意本条款。
2. Apple 标准 EULA
PastelScan 是授权使用，而非出售。你对应用的许可同时受 Apple 的《授权应用程序最终用户许可协议（标准 EULA）》约束，该协议通过引用纳入本条款。本条款对 PastelScan 的产品功能、免费额度、订阅与内容责任作出补充。
如本条款与 Apple 标准 EULA、Apple Media Services 条款或不可排除的适用法律存在冲突，则在冲突范围内以后者为准。Apple 不是本条款的开发者当事方，但对标准 EULA 中明确赋予 Apple 的权利享有执行权。
3. 有限许可
在你遵守本条款与 Apple 适用的 App Store 使用规则的前提下，我们向你授予一项有限的、个人的、非独占的、不可转让的、可撤销的许可，允许你在自己拥有或控制的 Apple 设备上使用应用。除 Apple 规则或适用法律允许外，该许可不允许转售、再分发、再许可或使应用在网络上供多个无关用户共享。
4. 服务功能
PastelScan 用于扫描纸质文件或导入你选择的文件照片，在设备上调整页面、应用图像效果、通过 Apple Vision 识别文字、生成可搜索 PDF，并使用本地 SwiftData 索引管理文档。应用不要求账号，不含广告，不进行跟踪，不提供开发者云同步或云备份。
5. 免费版与 PastelScan Pro
免费版：每个本地自然日可成功生成 10 个增强型可搜索 PDF。一个多页 PDF 只计一次。只有 PDF 成功生成并保存后才会扣减次数；取消扫描、退出审阅或生成失败不扣次数。额度按设备的本地日历日重置。
Pro：在月度订阅有效期间，可无限次生成增强型可搜索 PDF，不受每日 10 份限制。
“无限”指不设产品内的每日扫描次数上限，仍受设备存储、系统能力、合理使用、应用可用性与本条款约束。我们可以在不减少已付费当期 Pro 核心权益的前提下改进产品界面或功能实现。
6. 月度自动续费订阅
- 产品：PastelScan Pro 为月度自动续费订阅。
- 价格：购买界面显示你所在 App Store 地区已配置的当地最低可用月费、币种与适用税费。实际购买价格以 Apple 确认购买前显示的金额为准。
- 付款：确认购买时，费用由 Apple 从你的 Apple 账户收取。我们不直接收集你的支付卡信息。
- 自动续费：订阅将按月自动续费，除非你在当前订阅周期结束至少 24 小时前取消。Apple 可在当前周期结束前 24 小时内向账户收取续费费用。
- 管理或取消：在 iPhone/iPad 的“设置”中点击你的姓名，然后进入“订阅”管理或取消。删除应用不会自动取消订阅。
- 恢复购买：使用原购买 Apple 账户，在应用“设置”中选择“恢复购买”。恢复取决于 Apple 返回的有效权益状态。
- 退款与价格变更：账单、退款、价格变更通知和必要的同意由 Apple 按其政策与适用法律处理。除法律或 Apple 政策另有要求外，取消后不退还已开始周期的部分费用，Pro 通常可使用到已付费周期结束。

7. OCR、文档准确性与专业使用
PastelScan 不保证边缘检测、图像增强、文字识别、页面顺序或 PDF 中文字层的完整性与准确性。
OCR 结果可能因手写、模糊、反光、折痕、旋转、版式、字体或语言而出错。你必须在签署、提交、归档、付款，或用于法律、医疗、税务、财务、合规、身份核验等高风险用途前，核对原文、页面和生成的 PDF。不得仅依赖 OCR 结果作为法律准确的文本。PastelScan 不提供法律、医疗、财务或其他专业建议。
8. 你的内容与责任
你保留对自己扫描、导入、命名、生成或分享的文件内容所拥有的权利。我们不因你使用应用而获得该内容的所有权。你负责确保有权处理和分享相关文件，遵守隐私、数据保护、知识产权、保密、记录保留及其他适用法律或合同义务。
请勿在未经授权的情况下扫描或分发他人的机密、受版权保护或受限内容。
9. 本地存储、删除与备份责任
PastelScan 将 PDF、缩略图、OCR 文字与 SwiftData 索引保存在设备本地。应用没有可供我们恢复这些内容的开发者后端或云备份。
你负责备份重要文档。请在删除单个文档、使用“删除全部本地文档”、卸载应用、抹掉设备或更换设备前，将需要保留的 PDF 导出到你信任的位置。本地数据因删除、设备损坏、系统错误或存储空间不足而丢失时，我们无法从服务器恢复。
11. 禁止行为
你不得：
- 使用服务违反法律、侵犯他人权利、骚扰、欺诈或危害他人；
- 绕过、篡改或不当操纵免费额度、订阅验证、安全机制或应用存储；
- 除适用法律或开源许可明确允许外，复制、修改、反向工程、反编译、解密或试图提取应用源代码；
- 使用自动化或其他方式干扰应用、App Store、设备或他人的正常使用。
12. 可用性、更新与兼容性
服务可能因设备型号、操作系统版本、语言、存储空间、Apple 服务状态或地区而有所不同。某些扫描能力取决于 Apple 的系统框架和硬件支持。我们可能为了安全、兼容、法律遵从或产品改进而更新应用。我们不保证服务永久不间断、永远兼容或不会发生错误。
13. 保证免责与责任限制
在适用法律允许的最大范围内，服务按“现状”和“可用状态”提供，不附带明示、默示或法定保证，包括对准确性、可靠性、不中断、适销性、特定用途适用性和不侵权的保证。适用法律不允许排除的消费者权利不受影响。
在法律允许的最大范围内，我们不对因使用或无法使用服务而产生的间接、偶然、特殊、示范性、惩罚性或后果性损失，或文档、数据、收入、利润、商业机会的丢失承担责任。与应用许可相关的具体保证和责任限制还受 Apple 标准 EULA 约束。某些法域不允许上述排除或限制，因此其可能不适用于你。
14. 终止
你可随时停止使用应用并将其删除；但如果已订阅 Pro，还必须在 Apple 账户订阅设置中取消自动续费。如果你严重违反本条款，你的许可可按 Apple 标准 EULA 和适用法律终止。关于知识产权、责任、内容责任、备份和争议的条款在其性质上应存续的，将在终止后继续有效。
15. 条款变更、适用法律与联系
我们可能随产品、Apple 要求或适用法律变化而更新本条款，并在本页公布新版本和日期。如果法律要求，我们会提供额外通知或征得同意。在生效日期后继续使用更新后的服务，表示你接受更新后的条款，但不影响你依法享有的不可放弃权利。
适用法律和争议解决遵循 Apple 标准 EULA 中适用于你的规定，并保留你常住地不可排除的消费者保护。若本条款的任何部分被认定为无效，其余部分仍在法律允许的最大范围内有效。

Terms of Use (English)
1. Acceptance and scope
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and AppCodings (“we” or “us”), the provider of the PastelScan iPhone/iPad application, the PastelScan Pro subscription, and the companion website (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you have not reached the age at which you can enter a binding agreement where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms.
2. Apple Standard EULA
PastelScan is licensed, not sold. Your license to the App is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), which is incorporated here by reference. These Terms supplement that license with product-specific provisions concerning PastelScan features, the free allowance, subscriptions, and content responsibilities.
If these Terms conflict with Apple’s Standard EULA, the Apple Media Services Terms, or non-waivable applicable law, those authorities control to the extent of the conflict. Apple is not the developer party to these Terms, but Apple has the enforcement rights expressly granted to it under the Standard EULA.
3. Limited license
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and Apple’s applicable App Store Usage Rules, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control. Except as permitted by Apple’s rules or applicable law, this license does not allow resale, redistribution, sublicensing, or making the App available over a network for use by multiple unrelated users.
4. Service functionality
PastelScan scans paper or imports document photos you select, lets you arrange pages and apply image finishes, recognizes text with Apple Vision, creates searchable PDFs on-device, and manages documents through a local SwiftData index. The App requires no account, contains no ads, performs no tracking, and provides no developer-operated cloud sync or cloud backup.
5. Free version and PastelScan Pro
Free: You may successfully create 10 enhanced searchable PDFs per local calendar day. One multi-page PDF counts as one use. An allowance is deducted only after a PDF is successfully generated and saved; canceling a scan, leaving review, or a failed creation does not use an allowance. The allowance resets according to the device’s local calendar day.
Pro: While the monthly subscription is active, you may create enhanced searchable PDFs without the free version’s daily limit of 10.
“Unlimited” means that PastelScan does not impose an in-product daily scan-count cap. Use remains subject to device storage, system capabilities, reasonable use, App availability, and these Terms. We may improve the interface or implementation without reducing the core Pro entitlement during a period you have already paid for.
6. Monthly auto-renewable subscription
- Product: PastelScan Pro is a monthly auto-renewable subscription.
- Price: The purchase screen displays the configured lowest available monthly price for your App Store storefront, in local currency and with applicable taxes as presented by Apple. The amount Apple shows before purchase confirmation is the controlling purchase price.
- Payment: Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. We do not directly collect your payment-card details.
- Automatic renewal: The subscription renews monthly unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends. Apple may charge the renewal to your account within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Manage or cancel: On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel the subscription.
- Restore: With the Apple Account originally used for purchase, choose “Restore Purchases” in the App’s Settings. Restoration depends on the active entitlement status returned by Apple.
- Refunds and price changes: Apple handles billing, refunds, price-change notices, and any required consent under its policies and applicable law. Except where law or Apple policy requires otherwise, canceling does not provide a partial refund for a period already started, and Pro generally remains available until the paid period ends.

7. OCR, document accuracy, and professional use
PastelScan does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of edge detection, image enhancement, text recognition, page order, or a PDF’s text layer.
OCR can make mistakes because of handwriting, blur, glare, folds, rotation, layout, fonts, or language. You must compare the source, page images, and generated PDF before signing, submitting, archiving, paying, or using it for legal, medical, tax, financial, compliance, identity-verification, or other high-risk purposes. Do not rely on OCR output alone as legally accurate text. PastelScan does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
8. Your content and responsibilities
You retain whatever rights you hold in documents that you scan, import, name, generate, or share. We do not acquire ownership of that content merely because you use the App. You are responsible for having the right to process and share each document and for complying with privacy, data-protection, intellectual-property, confidentiality, records-retention, and other applicable legal or contractual duties.
Do not scan or distribute another person’s confidential, copyrighted, or restricted content without authorization.
9. Local storage, deletion, and your backup responsibility
PastelScan stores PDFs, thumbnails, OCR text, and its SwiftData index locally on your device. The App has no developer backend or cloud backup from which we can recover that content.
You are responsible for backing up important documents. Before deleting an item, using “Delete all local documents,” uninstalling the App, erasing a device, or moving to another device, export every PDF you need to a location you trust. If local data is lost through deletion, device damage, system error, or insufficient storage, we cannot restore it from a server.
10. Privacy
Our information practices are described in the PastelScan Privacy Policy, which is an important supplement to these Terms.
11. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- use the Service unlawfully, infringe another person’s rights, harass, defraud, or harm anyone;
- bypass, alter, or improperly manipulate the free allowance, subscription verification, security features, or App storage;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, decrypt, or try to derive App source code, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law or an open-source license; or
- use automation or other means to interfere with the App, App Store, device, or another person’s normal use.
12. Availability, updates, and compatibility
The Service may vary by device model, operating-system version, language, storage capacity, Apple service status, or region. Some scanning capabilities depend on Apple’s system frameworks and hardware support. We may update the App for security, compatibility, legal compliance, or product improvement. We do not promise that the Service will be permanently uninterrupted, forever compatible, or error-free.
13. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express, implied, or statutory warranties, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, uninterrupted operation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or loss of documents, data, revenue, profit, or business opportunity, arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Specific warranty and liability provisions for the App license are also governed by Apple’s Standard EULA. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions or limitations, so they may not apply to you.
14. Termination
You may stop using and delete the App at any time, but if you subscribed to Pro, you must separately cancel automatic renewal in your Apple Account subscription settings. If you materially breach these Terms, your license may terminate under Apple’s Standard EULA and applicable law. Provisions concerning intellectual property, liability, content responsibility, backup, and disputes survive to the extent their nature requires.
15. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these Terms as the product, Apple requirements, or applicable law changes, and will post the new version and date here. Where law requires, we will provide additional notice or seek consent. Continuing to use an updated Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms, without limiting any non-waivable rights you have under law.
Governing-law and dispute provisions follow the parts of Apple’s Standard EULA that apply to you, while preserving mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. If any part of these Terms is held invalid, the remainder continues to the maximum extent permitted by law.
